The emerging Cultural Association "Art helps – ONLUS" founding viewed the purpose of its institution, and the inspiring principles of its partners, in the framework of social activities aimed at achieving trails thesis to:

•  The inclusion/reintegration working and social inclusion;
• The Creation, promotion, subsistence, coordination or direction of economic initiatives, cultural, social and artistic, aimed at helping people poorer and less-favoured areas and areas so-called "depressed", in order to order the social and economic life and maximize their emancipation, also through the provision of economic aid and technology;
• The dissemination of the culture of the art as a means of social solidarity;
• the commitment to intervene in cases of emergency, in the rescue of the populations affected by natural disasters and the like;
• The awareness through: meetings, conferences, exhibitions, publications occasional, multimedia, network web and any other means of communication, as well as local groups spread on the territory, the issues of solidarity, of the art, social life dignity, and of the aid;
• Stand as point of reference for those, disadvantaged find in the various facets and expressions of the art, a relief to its discomfort.

In occasion of such events occurring to the territories and to citizens de l' aquila and province, has devised the following project in order to bring help in places of the disaster, both as a direct and practical, with activities in the long term, basing his work on solidarity and the transparency of action.

Our idea is very simple: to create an event that, at a distance of occurrence 4, kept alive the focus on the problem and aid, as its product, in the work of relief and reconstruction, and of emancipation economic, social and cultural.

The project Art aid AQ, matured in the nascent Cultural Association "Art helps-ONLUS" develops through artistic trails that aim to help the people affected by the earthquake of 04-06-09.

Specifically of the product of this project will be the implementation of an artistic multifunctional centre in L' Aquila, great structure with salt test, the study of registration and dubbing, classrooms for courses of sculpture, painting, music, exhibition area, amphitheatre, an external area equipped for concerts.
